Count Your Blessings

First of all, what the heck am I doing up at 2AM on a Sabbath morning? Some things about myself, I will never understand. Here’s why I don’t have the time to read my devos. Lately I’ve been picturing an image in my head of where we are able to take a snapshot of the miracles in our lives and carry them with us forever. That got me thinking, what would it look like if I were to make a collection of all the good things that happened to me, whether or not I understood why? I think it would just be a collage of beautiful things.

So here’s a personal project (add it to the resolution list!). For the remaining days of the year, I will attempt to create a wall of blessings. Any remnants of a miracle, whether it is a souvenir from the traveling, or perhaps even a post-it note summing up the experience, I will gather up on the wall space next to my desk. I think I am already really far behind and it’s only February. This shall be an interesting one, but I’m excited to see what other little things God wants to place in my life.
