Let Your Kingdom come
I went to the beach today for the first time in years. The feeling of sand between my toes made me miss the beaches, even though I’m not the biggest fan of them. We were at Long Beach for Amanda’s baptism. I’ve never seen a baptism by the beach, so it was quite a sight for us. It didn’t click in my head until today that she was attending Charlie Moore’s church. The world becomes so small when you are a Christian because of the connections you make. We stayed at a house nearby afterwards for a BBQ, and sitting there conversing with several members of their church (both the ones that we knew and the ones we just met), I felt so warmly welcomed. I guess that’s a different because Asian-American churches and American or multi-ethnic churches.
I fell asleep sometime last night in the middle of writing this post. I haven’t been sleeping before 12 in like a good month, or before 1AM for that matter. I think it’s time to change my sleeping pattern & my summer schedule.
haha, this post is significantly shorter then your other ones! and isn’t God’s house just wonderful and big?
