Well, clearly I don’t care about school anymore to not bother attempting to fix my sleeping pattern. Anyways, I just needed to put some thoughts to rest, especially concerning not working this summer.
Long story short, after some lengthy conversation with several different people (on both sides of the issue), I have concluded that I have spent too much time putting myself to work that I’ve forgotten how God can teach me outside of responsibilities. He made an entire UNIVERSE for our enjoyment. His splendor is not just in getting me through buttloads of paperwork. His love isn’t just in helping me get through tough times. The amount of paper sitting at my desk right now tells me one thing – that I need to stop remembering stuff to worry about.
The thing is, I don’t need miracles in the midst of hardships to see God’s beauty. And I find that the longer I stay inside “working mode”, the less I come to appreciate that perfectly shaded flower blooming from the field. Yes, money is still an issue, and it will always be, but if there’s one thing I learned from my post-it-a-day project, it’s that God can be found EVERYWHERE. So I think it’s safe to say that it’s finally time to relax, rest, and spend time finding God in all places possible.
